This vice comes with a very useful vice mounting base also.

The vice when in the mount plate is approx 130mm high

the vice holds hooks from approx size 8 to 12 as a fit size

The Vice base plate is supplied so that the angler can if required,

 screw this base plate to a bench or table.,

The reason for this is to make a more stable mounting for the use of the vice.
